The Unsatisfied is a post-punk/hard rock band from Chattanooga, TN, renowned for their high-powered stage shows, provocative compositions, and charismatic band members. Founded in 1986 by frontman Eric Scealf, and backed by lead guitarist Johnny Stockman, rhythm guitarist Wayne Shadwick, bassist Seth David, & newest member, drummer Matt Reynolds, The Unsatisfied began in the Southern underground music scene and ascended to greater acclaim, fast becoming darlings of New York/New Rock and the CBGB's punk scene. Through perseverance and sacrifice, their raw talent made them stars of the award-winning documentary Ambition Withdraw: Redux, which covers the span of their work from inception to infamy. Their heavy sound and Avant-garde style has cultivated a dedicated following stretching across the U.S., Australia, and the U.K.
The Unsatisfied has created a brand of hard rock that is powerful, articulate, and addictive. Lauded regionally and nationally as icons of southern gothic punk rock by press giants such as Punk Globe and Joe Bob Briggs, their music has transcended the anticipated sound of their predecessors while upholding the rock 'n roll anti-establishment, free-willing, rebel spirit expected of the punk and hard rock genres, hybridizing them into something that is both threatening and enlightening. Like a street fight set to music, their live shows supercharge their patrons by infusing raw fury and sexuality into a cinematic experience you can dance-head bang-thrash-slam-fistfight to!
Let their music do the talking and check them out live whenever and wherever possible for the full experience! All welcome!

"While the band may be synonymous with the punk scene, their sound is more complex than that, running the gamut from punk to glam to prog rock to, in their words, “weird.” "
Marc Michael ~The Pulse
"That is the most original Salute To Troops we've ever had!" Robin Meade ~HLN's Headline News
"The Unsatisfied; raw, high energy, rock & roll meets dangerous, punk rock, with precision. The Unsatisfied are a certified genuine American punk act straight from the south. They’ve played with many legends; their big rock energy & wild spectacle onstage feels like being hit by a rock and roll lighting bolt!"
